Eatery Salt is not just another restaurant, but the Westland’s most fun children’s restaurant. With our facilities and close cooperation with Animation in Sweet, we are the perfect location for families, grandparents and, of course, our park guests.

Children have no time to be bored and adults can enjoy a snack and drink on our terrace, in one of our conservatories or in the restaurant. Happy children mean happy parents and we work hard together for that.

As an event planner and manager, you certainly won’t have to be bored, we are constantly on the move, looking for fun activities for young and old alike. In addition to all requests you receive for birthday parties, lunches or a nice dinner buffet, you are also responsible for planning and organizing these parties. You attend parties from A to Z.

It is a position where a lot of independence is expected and you will have a lot of freedom to work out great ideas. You already understand that no one day is the same.

We also organize a big event 2-3 times a year, think of a summer/winter festival for young and old. During all holidays, events and other fun promotions, we have an extensive offer for our guests. Here you are partly responsible for.

In addition to all of the above, you will also rotate on the shop floor and lead our friendly team. Again, no day is the same, you can make a difference within the team with your enthusiasm. During the winter months, things are a little quieter and you will be on the shop floor less, as you will be busy working out new plans for the next season. In the summer, the restaurant is popping and you are more responsible for making sure the day runs smoothly.

Work Event Planner / Manager.

• Organizing and planning parties and events from A to Z.
• Contact with the guest, filling in the party, appropriate arrangement, creating script.
• You hire the right people, book the venue and manage the staff at the party/event.
• Liaise with suppliers, other departments and the hospitality manager.
• You will rotate on the shop floor of our restaurant, Eatery Salt.
• You will be co-responsible for managing the staff in the service area and support our restaurant manager as needed.
• You like to work hard and know how to put on an unforgettable event

Your profile:

• You have an eye for detail, you know how to keep an overview and are incredibly good at arranging and organizing things.
• You can take a good inventory of the guests’ wishes and turn them into an unforgettable party.
• You are not afraid to approach people. Indeed, this is one of your qualities.
• Experience in the hospitality industry comes in very handy or you must be a person who learns new things quickly.
• You are extremely stress resistant and enthusiastic.
• You are flexibly available on weekends, weekdays, evenings, vacations and holidays.
• You have no problem speaking a word of English or German (or at least not afraid to try).
• You enjoy thinking along in fun concepts and special evenings.
• Age 21+
