hello energy is a trusted provider of utility data collection services across Europe. We empower real estate companies with the data they need to navigate complex compliance landscapes and unlock the full potential of their sustainability initiatives. Through seamless integration with various data providers and systems, hello energy ensures access to high-quality, validated utility data in over 20 countries. This empowers real estate companies to make informed decisions, optimize energy use, and achieve their sustainability goals.

 

What will you be doing?

You will join our growing tech team. Our energy database is processing data from thousands of energy meters and sensors from buildings all around Europe. Our SaaS application, built with Python, Django and React, is creating engaging data driven content for all kind of devices. Many API’s and micro services are in place and ready to be accompanied by many others. We are developing data visualizations, content delivery, and dashboards. Our roadmap contains lots of features related to engaging users on the road to net zero carbon.

Your responsibilities will include: 

• Develop, optimize, and implement new and existing applications.
• Analyse business requirements at a detailed level, lead and contribute to the design of solutions.

Who’s with you?

You will be part of the Product & Tech team, working with our product owner, tech lead and tech team and data analysts. You will be a part of our high energy team of 15 people.

 

Who are we looking for?

Are you our next developer, with

• 5+ years front enddevelopment experience
• Experience designing with Figma
• Experience developing with Python,React, Typescript,SCSS
• Agile development approach
• Outstanding English

Good team player competences

Nice to have (but not required)

• Version control systems (Git)
• Docker / CI/CD / DevOps
• Distributed software development
• Experience withpubliccloud environment, such as AWS.
