Your responsibilities
As a Project Engineer in Water Treatment, you will accompany our national and international (large-scale) projects related to various technologies such as hydrogen generation or combined cycle power plants and make a major contribution to the energy transition. - Successfully advancing projects with expertise in process and mechanical engineering (water treatment, wastewater treatment)
- Reviewing and optimizing water concepts
- Preparing feasibility studies, including for research and development projects
- Managing contractors in terms of scope, budget, and deadlines
- Creation of specifications for plants and systems and carrying out due diligence
- Review of existing plants and assessment of shortcomings, including solution development
- Concept development, design planning and procurement of plants and systems in the field of water treatment
- University degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering, energy technology, chemical engineering or similar
- Several years of professional experience in operation, maintenance or in challenging projects with plant manufacturers in the power plant environment
- Experience in tendering and handling water treatment systems
- Experience in project management and execution of projects
- Strong communication skills as well as persuasiveness and drive
- Business fluent in English
- Sound knowledge of water law and approval procedures
- Knowledge of the automation of water treatment plants and their integration into higher-level process control systems
- German or Dutch language skills
- Willingness to travel at home and abroad
- Interest in the topics of hydrogen production and Power2x
