Mechanical or Process Engineer We welcome you as our Mechanical or Process Engineer to support the development, optimization, and production of our membrane distillation systems. Do you have some hands-on experience and a strong willingness to learn and grow within our company? You will work closely with the project manager and other team members, contributing to both technical and practical tasks that help drive our projects forward. Company Aquastill is one of the global leaders in membrane distillation technology, specialized in innovative and sustainable water purification solutions. Our technology is designed to handle a wide range of water treatment applications, providing clean water while minimizing energy consumption. Aquastill is based in Sittard, The Netherlands, and our small but dynamic team is driving cutting-edge research and development, as well as real-world applications of membrane distillation technology. We focus on both R&D and the commercial scaling of our systems, offering a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of technology and innovation in the water sector. Key responsibilities

• Mechanical and process support: Assist with the design, assembly, and troubleshooting of systems and machinery used in water treatment.
• Practical engineering: Take on hands-on tasks related to machine building, system testing, and system maintenance.
• Process optimization: Help improve system performance by optimizing processes and contributing new ideas.
• General project support: Work on technical tasks that support the overall execution of various projects, ensuring smooth workflow and collaboration.

Skills and qualifications • Degree in Mechanical, Process, or Chemical engineering (or related field). • Some hands-on experience (internships or similar experience) in mechanical systems

or process engineering.

• Willingness to learn new technologies and approaches, especially in membrane distillation and related systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset. • Good English skills.

Soft skills • Team-oriented and collaborative approach. • Enthusiasm for learning and taking on a variety of tasks. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a dynamic environment.
