If you’re looking to step up your career, join us at JLLRole PurposeWe are looking for a Sustainability Consulting Associate who will lead sustainability engagement with large and high-profile clients located in Netherland predominantly investors, property companies and global companies occupying real estate. The Sustainability Consulting Associate will support clients in defining compelling visions, creating leading sustainability strategies, building action plans and partnering with the rest our JLL sustainability professionals to assist in implementing and bringing plans to life.Career Level DefinitionAt this level requires specialized depth and/or breadth of sustainability expertise, consulting experience with C-Level exposure, recommends best practices, solves complex problems, takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions, works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations. May lead unit teams.Key Responsibilities and AccountabilitiesBusiness Development – Drive business growth in the Netherlands by implementing and activating the EMEA sustainability consulting go-to-market strategy. Collaborate closely with local JLL teams and EMEA Sustainability Solution teams to engage with clients, such as investors, developers, and property occupiers. Develop and nurture client relationships, while crafting compelling pitches and proposals that address sustainability opportunities and contribute to winning new business.Project management – Project manage the delivery of several client projects or tasks, ensuring a professional relationship and the effective delivery of sustainability services to time and budget. This can involve creating project plans, delegating tasks, and deliverables to colleagues, and providing ultimate oversight and review of deliverables.Consulting Delivery: Understand client’s sustainability needs and ambitions, undertaking materiality and peer reviews, and leading stakeholder engagement to develop and support the creation of compelling visions and strategies. Taking a client through the strategy implementation journey, through well-crafted goals, actions plan, and bringing the strategy to life through engagement. Thought leadership: Create thought leadership pieces for communication, to enhance client offerings, and ensure the team remain at the forefront of emerging thinking. Ethics – Understand the organisations behavioural, moral, ethical and compliance standards & requirements, adhere to and demonstrate highest regard to these in all situations when interacting with customers, clients, and colleagues.To apply you need to be/have:Minimum 5 years relevant work experience in the sustainability and/or consultancyStrategic individual with customer centric mindsetSpecialist knowledge in sustainabilityStrong communication skills, with track record of working with Senior / C-Level stakeholders in client organisations.Excellent project management skills, ability to take ownership of client deliverable, to ensure alignment of multiple internal stakeholders and to meet deadlinesStrong problem-solving skills and ideally experience developing holistic solutions in a business contextExcellent team-working, and ability to contribute towards a positive team dynamicSome experience working with Real Estate investors or occupiers - preferable but not essentialExcellent computer and information system skills; in particular Excel, Word, and PowerPointFluent in both English and Dutch, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and internal teams.What You Can Expect From UsYou’ll join an entrepreneurial, inclusive culture.
