For our international client based in Eindhoven area, we are looking for a System Administrator Cloud. This company is a listed company with offices and plants all over the world. As a System Administrator Cloud you will be working in an international environment and you will be part of a global Datacenter team with 13 professionals, consisting of system administrators, cloud specialists and architects. In total, you will be working with more than 40 IT colleagues. In the organization, IT innovation is the main focus for the upcoming years. Business travels to the USA are organized on a regular basis in order to expand your knowledge in this area. 

The IT environment is modern and state of the art. They are hybrid and Microsoft oriented, and you will be responsible for the Azure and VMware infrastructure. There is a lot of room for you to grow within the company, as a professional but also in expertise. 

Functieomschrijving

• Administrating the IT environment: Data Centers, Azure & VMWare infrastructure and IaaS/Paas;
• Focusing on managing a highly resilient cloud infrastructure;
• Managing on-premise servers (mainly Windows Server);
• Monitoring and optimizing the performance;
• Participating in projects, enhancing operational improvements within the environment;
• Improving on security, disaster recorvery and backup;
• Providing support for users

Functie-eisen

• Experience as a system administrator;
• Knowledge of Azure (basic) and virtualization (e.g. VMware);
• Basic knowledge of IT networking;
• Able to work with vendors and communicate on with suppliers;
• Good communication skills;
• Fluent in English, Dutch is a pre;
