Electrical Lead Engineer
Area of Zuid-Holland, The Netherlands
Fulltime
As a Lead Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and designers, developing detailed designs for electrical systems, and ensuring compliance with both national and international standards. You will have extensive experience with low voltage and high voltage systems, offshore platform design, and be proficient in preparing technical documentation and specifications.
Key competencies:
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Master of Science (MSc) in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- At least 5 years of experience in an engineering company.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a leadership role on detailed engineering projects.
- Proven experience in leading a team of electrical engineers and designers.
- Detailed experience in greenfield low voltage power distribution engineering.
- Experience with offshore platform design.
- Experience with high voltage (HV) substation design.
- Skilled in preparing specifications, technical basis documents (TBE), and participating in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for electrical LV systems such as Motor Control Centers (MCC), switchgear, UPS systems, and LV distribution boards.
- Experienced in electrical system studies.
- Knowledgeable in medium voltage (MV) and high voltage (HV) power distribution systems.
- Familiar with low voltage (LV) distribution systems, including LV switchgear, UPS systems, and LV distribution boards.
- Familiar with national and international codes and standards such as IEC, ANSI, IEEE, ISO, NFPA, NEMA, API, etc.
- Experienced with ETAP, E3D, and Smart Plant Instrumentation.
