TRS Staffing have a fantastic opportunity for a Document Controller.
The role will see you assist Project Managers & Teams to support document workflow requirements and methods as well as execute the function task of ensuring traceability for all documentation during all phases of the project, including handover and operations.

The Role

To be complicit in the implementation and continual adherence of the company’s document control procedures and processes
To support the document control manager in the development of routines and implementation of improvements for all technical and administrative documentation

To support all project members with adequate information, training and assistance regarding DM routines and applications
Monitor incoming documents and drawings, and distribute as appropriate in accordance to a project distribution matrix
Ensure closure of all document management processes at project end, including the expediting of close out reports, giving an overview of all documentation produced in the project

The coordination of datasets to be migrated to the EDMS on a project
Processing the issue, storage and retrieval of project documentation internally or externally produced using the EDMS
Provide document control services to the project team to maintain the timely flow of project documents within the EDMS
Expedite critical document transactions between internal and external organisations including approvals bodies, by monitoring transaction timescales, actively driving the request and receipt of certification/approvals and contractually important documents as directed by Package Managers.

Maintain a controlled hard copy filing systems for accepted ‘wet signature’ documents.

Your Profile

Minimum of 3 to 5 Years’ experience as a document controller on a large engineering / construction project preferred

Experience producing and maintaining specific site documentation logs and records using EDMS & spreadsheets for:
Correspondence
Risk assessments and method statements
Site diaries
Minutes
Stakeholder complaints
Technical Queries, Requests for Information etc.
