For our Clinical Safety Laboratory in Groningen, we are looking for a Laboratory Analyst III (supervisor level). Our laboratory has 20 enthusiastic people working in the lab or in the office. The lab is part of ICON’s Early Development organization in Groningen in which we conduct clinical trials in healthy volunteers and in patients. The clinical lab analyzes over 800,000 different assays on an annual basis, working with state of the art equipment and technology.
What are your
responsibilities?
- Preparation of clinical studies for the benefit of laboratory
- Practical translation of the clinical protocol to study specific instructions
- Maintain contact with internal and external clients
- Efficient coordination of all your study related work in the laboratory
- Lead and participate in projects to e.g. increase quality or efficiency in the laboratory
- Point of contact for your studies and projects for the laboratory, other colleagues and clients
- In this role you will be coordinating projects and not managing personnel, however people skills are more then welcome
- You have a Bachelors or Masters degree (HBO/WO) with a medical background e.g. as a (research) analyst
- Relevant experience, preferably in a (similar) laboratory
- Understanding of GxP principles and interest in
- Affinity with LIMS and/or data capture systems and software
- Drive, enthusiasm and high work ethic to get the work done
- You have the ability to put things into perspective and possess a good sense of humor: work can be fun!
- Project Management skills are a pre
- Dutch is your preferred language, but you are proficient in English as well
