Algemene informatie

Mr. Haz Tacobar is a popular restaurant in the Jordaan district in the centre of Amsterdam. Since 2017 we make culinary tacos. Everything is home made, the marinades, salsas, sauces and the tortillas itself. We are a busy place, especially in the weekend (100 couverts a night). To manage it well we are looking for a chef.

Position
As a chef you play a very important role in making the place a success. Je are responsible for the preparations, you organize the kitchen and you give instructions to the kitchen assistent and dish washer. You make sure the ordering goes smooth and you well equipped to keep a high quality during busy shifts.

The kitchen is well organised and fixed with all the equipment you need. We dont have a uniform, but there are some chefs jackets and kichen aprons available. These are being washed. The kitchen is open daily from 17:00-22:00. The prep starts at 15:00, the cleaning is mostly done around 23:00. During week days we work with a team of 2 people in the kitchen, in the weekend we have 3 people in the kitchen.

Our Team
Our team is international, half Dutch half from different countries. The spoken language in the kitchen is English. We have an experienced team that works at Mr. Haz. We have a small team that works hard but has a lot of fun as well and cares for the place and each other.

Salary
The salary based on experience and responsibility with a maximum of 2800 a month.
