timely and high-quality

delivery of FEM analysis and reports.

• You lead and coordinate a team of

FEM engineers

, overseeing modeling, meshing, analysis, and post-processing.

• You align work with

project and multidisciplinary teams

for optimal solutions.

• You monitor and optimize

structural strength, vibrations, and shock resistance

of vessels.

• You manage and communicate

data flows

internally and externally.

• You liaise with

classification societies and clients

to ensure compliance with regulations and specifications.

Profile

Do you have it in you as a FEM Engineer Maritiem?

Bachelor’s/Master’s

in

Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering

, or related.

5+ years’ experience

in structural FEM analysis (shipbuilding/offshore).

• Proficiency in

ANSYS

EU citizenship and passport

required (due to military projects).

Tasks & responsibilities As a senior piping designer, you are part of the team that focuses on maritime projects within the field of piping and mechanics. This concerns a temporary project for a period of minimum six months (extension possible). Tasks & responsibilities You perform FEM/ FEA models and calculations for offshore equipment; You optimize designs focusing on material usage, weight, durability, and maintenance; You will collaborate in the design of equipment for offshore purposes like cranes, offshore grippers, j-lay systems, etc.

Structural Analyst Maritiem

Luckily, we can count on you for the following: You perform comprehensive global structural assessments of ships. Analyze and understand the implications on both longitudinal and transverse strength ensuring the structural integrity of the vessel; Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to feasibility studies; Perform detailed calculations manually and using specialized software to assess the strength of ship structures; Address various structural requests, including but not limited to heavy equipment positioning on offshore ship decks, sea-fastenings calculations, and global/local assessments for conversions; Ensure that all structural designs and assessments adhere to applicable rules and regulations.
