What do you do as a reach truck driver?

• As a reach truck driver, your daily tasks are diverse and challenging. Below is an overview of your main responsibilities:
• Moving goods: Using a reach truck, you move goods to the right location in the warehouse.
• Picking and storage: You pick products from racks and place new deliveries in the right place.
• Ensuring safety: You comply with safety regulations to prevent accidents.
• Stock control: You ensure stock levels are correct and up-to-date.
• Reach truck maintenance: You perform light maintenance tasks on the reach truck and report any defects.

Salary and benefits
At Pollux, we offer an attractive salary for the position of reach truck driver. The salary usually varies between €12 and €14 per hour, depending on your experience and skills. In addition to a good basic salary, we offer various fringe benefits:

Do you need to have reach truck certificates?

Yes, to work as a reach truck driver, you need a valid reach truck certificate. This certificate is proof that you are trained to operate a reach truck safely. If you do not yet have a certificate, Pollux offers the opportunity to obtain one through us. Safety comes first and that is why we make sure all our drivers are properly trained.
