About Us

My client is looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee a transformative project aimed at an overhaul of the existing Azure Sentinel SOC.

Role Overview

As the Project Manager for the SOC transformation project, you will lead the strategic planning, execution, and delivery of the Azure Sentinel implementation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals, adherence to timelines, and successful adoption of enhanced security capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning

: Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocations for the Azure Sentinel implementation within the SOC.

Stakeholder Engagement

: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including IT, cybersecurity teams, and executive leadership, to gather requirements, set expectations, and communicate project progress.

Resource Management

: Identify and allocate necessary resources, including personnel, tools, and technologies, to ensure successful project execution.

Risk Management

: Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and ensure successful outcomes.

Performance Monitoring

: Track project milestones and deliverables, ensuring alignment with the established timeline and quality standards.

Change Management

: Facilitate change management processes to ensure smooth transitions and adoption of new processes and technologies by SOC staff.

Reporting

: Provide regular updates to stakeholders and leadership on project status, challenges, and accomplishments, including metrics on the effectiveness of the Azure Sentinel implementation.
