We are always on the lookout for talented interns. The designers of the future who, just like us, always strive to deliver creative work with impact. Together we design user experiences – from brand identities to all things digital – for businesses and organisations that make a positive impact in the world.As an intern you will be working on projects for real clients; projects that receive international exposure. You will gain experience working in a team with a drive for quality. From helping with our own initiatives, like journalism platform De Correspondent and The Correspondent, to creating for clients like top institute for cancer research, Oncode, the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB), Bugaboo global, New York University and Red Bull Studios.

An internship at Momkai takes five to six months. We welcome people from all over the world into our international team - provided that you are registered as a student at an educational institution in the European Union. During your internship, you will be mentored by experienced designers who will help you set and achieve your internship goals.You will be welcomed by a close-knit team, who will do anything in their power to make you feel at home and help you develop yourself. We appreciate every individual’s perspective and we believe that keeping commitments builds trust. At Momkai you will be part of an independent design studio that has its own distinct character since 2002.

About your role

Curious and creative.
We are looking for talented individuals who have a drive to design outstanding work. Experience with the most essential tools, such as Photoshop, Sketch, Illustrator and InDesign is important, as we want to get to work with you straight away. And we’re not the only ones, you will be working closely with UX designers, developers, and project managers.During the internship, you will work with seasoned designers. Together, you will cultivate your craft, sharpen your skills and expand your experience by assisting in the creation of visually appealing and exciting UI designs, branding, icons, prints, and infographics. In other words: feel a part of the Momkai team and learn from experts in your field.

— at bachelor or a higher level

Up to date on technology

— web, apps and social media

Eye for detail

— sense of quality

Research skills

— eager to find out user needs

User-focused

— capable of interpreting prototypes and wireframes

Proficient in English

— speaking Dutch is an advantage

Available for five to six months

— during the first half of 2021
