Are you a skilled Database Administrator with a passion for building robust database environments that power essential systems? What You'll Do
As a Database Administrator, you will collaborate closely with the infrastructure team to build and maintain our database environment, which includes SQL, Hyperscaler, MongoDB, and MariaDB. You will design, implement, and optimize database solutions that align with business needs while developing and managing backup and restore strategies. Ensuring seamless operations will involve handling incident and change management processes, as well as monitoring and troubleshooting database systems for optimal performance. Additionally, you will implement robust security measures to safeguard our corporate infrastructure and work with containerization technologies like Kubernetes. Active participation in team activities such as standups, retrospectives, and demos is an integral part of the role. Staying updated with emerging technologies, you’ll recommend and implement innovative improvements to continually enhance our database environment.

Your Responsibilities
Responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of database environments;
Provide technical support and act as a point of contact for internal teams;
Maintain up-to-date documentation of database environments and processes;
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and maintain business-critical infrastructure;
Suggest and implement new techniques to enhance team and organizational performance.

Vereisten

What You Bring
A Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field;
8+ years of IT experience, with at least 5 years specializing in database administration;
Microsoft Azure DB Associate certification or similar certifications;
Knowledge of ITIL and ISO 27000 standards (certifications are a plus);
Proficiency in SQL, MySQL, Hyperscaler databases; familiarity with MongoDB and MariaDB is a bonus;
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (Azure, AWS) and scripting languages;
Experience with network monitoring tools and containerization technologies like Kubernetes;
A love for technology, innovation, and a passion for learning;
A cooperative and positive attitude with the ability to inspire team members;
A strong "can-do" mentality and problem-solving mindset.

A gross salary between € 4.000 and € 5.000 depending on knowledge and experience (based on 40 hours);
13th month;
