Inverid (since November the new name of InnoValor) is the market leader in NFC technology for mobile identity verification. Companies and governments worldwide use our ReadID software to verify identities remotely and reduce identity fraud. In doing so, we make life easier and more secure. Customers include banks like ING, Rabobank and ASB Bank (New-Zealand), government agencies like UK Home Office and the Danish Digital Agency, and digital online/signature services from itsme, SK ID Solutions and Digidentity.

Inverid is growing rapidly and is entering a new phase in its development, with the opening of international development and sales centres, and the expansion of all development teams. We were the winner of the FD Gouden Gazelle (medium-sized companies) for the fastest-growing company in the Eastern Netherlands and are among the 250 fastest-growing scale-ups in the Netherlands. We are based in the Netherlands (Enschede), with offices in London and Valencia. We currently have 50 employees with 12 different nationalities. The working language within Inverid is English.

All of our work runs as a SaaS service in our public cloud infrastructure. We work with passport data and biometric data from millions of people, and our customers are subject to strict regulation. Security and availability are extremely important to us and to our customers. They are not marketing terms for us, but they are at the core of our services.

For ReadID, we are now using AWS in different geographical zones. The next challenge will be to use European cloud providers to ensure that data privacy is guaranteed at all times. You will help take this new step in a responsible way.

Your Job

Design and implement our Cloud deployment with high security levels

• Select and implement daily security measures
• Ensure a secure deployment and management, adhering to our ISO27001 ISMS
• Expanding capabilities to run ReadID at other cloud providers as well
• Extend and fine-tune our monitoring infrastructure

Contribute to our Cloud roadmap

• Expand and fine-tune our Elastic Stack monitoring infrastructure
• Become part of our 24x7 team that deals with severe incidents (availability or security)

What are you?

• You have an university (MSc) or college/BSc degree in computer science, software engineering, computer security or similar
• You have a good command of the English language (speaking and written)
• You have experience with automation and continuous integration
• You have experience with public cloud, e.g. AWS, Azure
• You have experience with Kubernetes
• Security is important to you, in technology, the organization and in the processes
• You have good communication skills that you can use to provide professional advice to customers

We are looking for candidates with 3-5 years of experience in this area. Typically, you already have some experience as a cloud engineer and are ready for a new, challenging step. Occasionally you will be able to work at the location of one of our customers.
