Purchaser / Sourcer

Your Role

As a Purchaser/Sourcer, you will play a pivotal role in sourcing the best quality fruits and vegetables. Leveraging an established network of suppliers and growers, your focus will be on maintaining and expanding these relationships while identifying new sourcing opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Sourcing: Secure the best products at the right time, ensuring availability and top quality.
• Negotiation: Establish competitive terms and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Market Analysis: Stay ahead of trends, seasonal demands, and emerging opportunities.
• Diversity & Quality: Strengthen our assortment, with a preference for expertise in berries and exotic products.
• Optimization: Continuously refine sourcing strategies to enhance efficiency and profitability.

Who You Are

You are a skilled and proactive purchaser with a passion for fresh produce. With excellent negotiation skills, an analytical mindset, and a hands-on mentality, you thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You take ownership, act decisively, and build lasting supplier partnerships.

Your Qualifications & Skills

• 2+ years of experience in fresh produce export/sourcing.
• Strong English communication skills (Spanish is a plus!).
• Experience with berries and exotic products (preferred).
• Willingness to travel if needed.
• Adaptable & results-driven, always looking to optimize sourcing strategies.
