Our department is split into multiple disciplines: Recruitment, People Operations, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, and HR Business Partners, and our Facilities Team. About the roleAs our HR Compensation & Benefits Specialist, you are part of our People Operations team. You will support the execution of the Compensation & Benefits policies and processes globally. Together with the team, you will closely work with the business leaders, other People teams and other enabling functions and advise them on C&B related topics. In addition, creating effective communication is an important part of your responsibilities.This role is based in our Global HQ in Amsterdam, reporting to the Manager, People Operations and you are part of a team ofpassionate HR colleagues.We are looking for an energetic HR Compensation & Benefits Specialist who can support our team with the execution of our global C&B strategy and programs. The responsibilities of this position may change over time, requiring flexibility and the ability to adapt to the ever-evolving needs of the organization.The role entails, but is not limited to the following: Drive the implementation, communication, and administration of our C&B offering throughout all countries where we operate;Research, analyze, benchmark and provide inputs to the HR management team and stakeholders around market trends, and assist in developing and continuously optimizing the company’s global C&B policies, processes, and systems;Prepare effective C&B communications and training materials that will ensure that the HR teams, leaders and employees have the right level of knowledge; liaise with the Corporate Communications team to time communications effectively;Day-to-day manage the global job framework and fairly grade and benchmark new roles following global grading guidelines and pay philosophy;Operate pay structures per operating country;Prepare and plan the annual salary review, formulate data analyses to support the calibration sessions and maintain the salary review master data;Participate in Annual Compensation Surveys;Identify potential C&B process improvements by frequently liaising with stakeholders and requesting feedback on proposed new processes and policies;Prepare and participate in audits for C&B processes;Nurture a strong, effective partnership with our payroll team to (tax) effectively administer relevant C&B programs and actions;Review the monthly payroll input in collaboration with the People Operations and Finance team;Independent stakeholder and vendor management, incl. contract matters, POs and invoices;Participate in sessions with/regarding works councils regarding compensation elements;Executing the administration of the equity program. About youEducation requirements Degree in Human Resources, or equivalent work experience;C&B certification such as GRP is a plus but not required. Experience requirements 3+ years HR experience in an international, multinational or scale-up environment, or 2 years of experience in a C&B role;Good knowledge of compensation and benefits basic principles and practices;Proficient with MS Office with a good understanding of MS excel and PowerPoint;Intermediate level knowledge of HR systems and processes;Beginner to intermediate knowledge of C&B processes;Experience in a multinational environmentExperience with working with project milestones, sprints and deadlines. Skills required Ability to create insights from data;Proven ability to structure priorities and manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelinesGood verbal/written communication & presentation skills;Strong work ethic, commitment to quality, & proven follow-through skills;Multitasking talents and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment subject to changing priorities and demands;Independent communication with stakeholders;Mental agility and problem-solving acumen; Must be fluent English (written and verbal), Dutch language capabilities are a plus and additional European languages desirable.
