Your role as an ICT Technician at Bluestream

A diverse role where your technical expertise makes a difference every day.
As an ICT Technician at Bluestream Offshore, you’ll be responsible for keeping our ICT systems, both onshore and offshore, up-to-date and operational. In this dynamic role, you’ll support our projects with your technical expertise, ensuring that everything from hardware to telecommunications systems runs smoothly. This is your chance to further develop your technical knowledge in a dynamic offshore environment where no two days are the same.

You’ll be the go-to person for technical ICT support. You’ll provide on-site assistance and ensure that our ICT equipment - such as audio/video and communication systems - remains operational 24/7, both onshore and offshore. You play a key role in installing and maintaining our technologies and are responsible for analyzing and troubleshooting any malfunctions.

You’ll work closely with the Head of ICT and other departments to ensure that all ICT products on our vessels are in top condition and kept up-to-date in our databases. This involves carefully monitoring the usage and condition of equipment and proposing improvements to make our systems future-proof. Whether it’s mobilizing a ship or maintaining complex systems, you ensure that everything runs smoothly.

In addition to your operational tasks, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in research for new ICT solutions and contribute to the development of new methods and processes. You’ll constantly identify areas for improvement, such as recurring faults, and devise creative solutions to increase operational efficiency.
